1. Over-tightening of screws: Screws are small parts that cannot be ignored on excavators. In fact, blindly increasing the torque of the screw in this way will not only cause the screw interface to be deformed due to excessive force, but also cause the screw thread to slip or the screw to break due to excessive tension. 2. Direct use of new batteries: After buying a new machine, many excavator drivers will always drive the excavator directly to work because of the few failures of the new machine. In fact, novices ignore the battery of the excavator. The charging of the new excavator when it is used for the first time has a great impact on the life of the battery. If the battery is not charged when driving the excavator for the first time, the capacity of the battery will be insufficient and the service life will be shortened. After the battery is filled with electrolyte according to regulations, it should be charged with a small current for about 1 hour.

3. The cooling fan belt is too tight: summer is coming and the temperature is rising. Some excavators are eager to cool down and always tighten the cooling fan belt. In fact, this will not only improve the cooling effect of the engine, but also cause damage. Because the belt is too tight, the belt will be stretched, and the belt will break for a long time, shortening the service life of the belt. What’s more serious is that because the tension of the belt is too large, the bearing load of the generator and the water pump will be too large, and the wear will be aggravated, resulting in an increase in the fuel consumption of the engine. Therefore, the novice should adjust the cooling fan belt correctly according to the specified value or normal scale when adjusting the cooling fan belt.

4. Incomplete replacement of hydraulic oil: The hydraulic components of the excavator have relatively high requirements on the hydraulic oil, and there are many times when the hydraulic oil needs to be replaced. When the hydraulic oil needs to be replaced due to long-term deterioration, many novices mistakenly believe that it is only necessary to drain the oil in the hydraulic oil tank and fill up with new hydraulic oil. However, there are still a lot of old hydraulic oil left in the hydraulic oil pipe and hydraulic control valve at this time. When the equipment is used, the mixed use of the old and new oil will speed up the deterioration of the new oil.
